Make a Difference

Health, Fitness & Aquatics

Whether teaching lifesaving swimming skills or supporting members in reaching their goals, you can help us create a healthier community and welcoming spaces for all. With the Y, you are part of a charity providing opportunities for belonging and wellbeing for people who could not otherwise afford to participate.

We believe in investing in our team and can help you gain certifications and develop leadership skills. We welcome students with flexible shifts and options for added hours during school break periods. Paid recertifications are available for lifeguards and swim instructors. Be the Spark

Early Childhood Education

Our educators are the spark for the social and emotional wellness of future generations. The foundation of trust and safety you build allows children to explore through their own natural curiosity and play. We value your work and strive to provide our educators with the support, training, and work-life balance they need to excel.

With 38 child care centres, we are Manitoba's largest provider of child care, giving our team opportunities for growth and advancement. Educators receive training in the research-based YMCA Playing to Learn™ curriculum. If you want to work with great people and make a difference, then the Y is the place for you!
