Young Adults Sitting and Looking at the Horizon Young Adults Sitting and Looking at the Horizon

What is Y Mind?

Y Mind is a 7-week psychoeducational prevention program for teens and young adults dealing with mild to moderate anxiety. It is evidenced-based and grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Mindfulness. Y Mind has proven outcomes for participants including reduced anxiety, increased well-being and increased mindfulness skills. Led by trained mental health professionals, Y Mind gives teens and young adults the chance to connect with others who are having similar experiences. As a participant in the program, you will also have access to the YMCA-YWCA health and fitness facilities throughout the program.
